BILLY COLEMAN AWARD NOMINATION

On Tuesday 15^th. November, eight young rally drivers are interviewed to become finalists for the most coveted award in Irish rallying.

I am delighted and honoured to be among them. The inaugural winner of this title in 2000 was Rory Galligan (deceased) from my home town Oldcastle.

Here is a photo taken at the launch in Dublin of Rory’s campaign for the Peugeot 106 Cup Challenge.

Rory went on to become a works driver with Peugeot Sport and later with Mitsubishi Motorsport.

The Coleman Award has been a platform for many drivers since.

The best of luck to all the drivers up for nomination.
